1.      To ensure continual evaluation at regular intervals a system of Unit Tests has been introduced in addition to the semester examination. For this purpose three unit tests will be held in the months of May, November and January and two semester examinations will be held in the months of September and March. This scheme will be applicable for classes III to VIII.

For classes Nursery and K.G. there will be no formal examination. However, the students will be promoted on the basis of continuous assessment of the session.

For classes I & II there will be no semester examinations. However they will have to appear in two extra tests to be held in the months of September and March.

For classes III to VIII 15 % weightage is given to unit tests and 85% weightage to the two semester examinations. For classes I and II it is the unit tests which carry 100 marks for the whole year. However for classes IX to XII the competence and learning acquired by the students is tested four times in an academic session. For this purpose a short test in May, Terminal Examination in September and December and Final Examination in March are conducted. 40% weightage is given to the terminal examinations for promotion to next class.

2.     There is no system of re-examination. Students absenting themselves for any reason other than illness will be considered ‘Failed’. In case of illness, a valid medical certificate from a qualified doctor will have to be produced.

3.    A student absenting himself or herself from an examination will be fined at the rate of Rs. 10/- per paper.

4.   Pass percentage criterion for promotion to higher classes in each subject is given below:-

            Class I                                       55%

            Class II                                     50%

            Class III to V                            45%

            Class VI to IX & XI                 40%

Duplicate Transfer Certificate, Birth Certificate, Detail Marks Certificate or Identity Card may be obtained from the school on payment of Rs. 50/-
