Kundan Vidya Mandir is a Senior Secondary School affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Established in 1941 by Sh. Kundan Lal, K.V.M. is now one of the leading institutions in India. The school takes pride in cultivating among the students qualities of  nationalism, patriotism, service and sacrifice. It is a secular institution where children of all castes and creeds receive liberal education. The school lives upto its motto of Love, Truth and Efficiency and is known for its healthy discipline. The school has by now turned out thousands of students who are fanned out in all walks of life and arc doing extremely well for themselves. The school has now a strength of over 4700 students whose physical, mental, academic and cultural needs are taken care of by a team of 270 members of the staff, both teaching and non-teaching.

Kundan Vidya Mandir has two branches. The main school is situated in the posh Civil Lines area of Ludhiana. The school campus is spread over an area of 7 acres and provides the studentswith ample facilities for sports and games, cultural activities and hobbies like computers, photography, electrical gadgets, gardening, music, dance, art and craft, interior decoration, pipe band and orchestra. To cater to the needs of the city clientele, its branch is located opposite the city railway station.
